Archive of discontinued tables
The annual MHMDS release was initially labelled as ‘experimental statistics'. This label was removed for the 2008/09 third annual release because the methodology for the analysis was established and data quality was improving. However as further information from MHMDS is made available, each release includes some new information labelled as ‘experimental statistics'. Depending on user feedback, some of these are not produced in subsequent years and will therefore not be included in the time series data that forms part of each annual release. Discontinued organisation level tables not available elsewhere are:
Tables 1.6 – 1.9 give rates of access to mental health services by difference characteristics and for SHA and PCT areas. These have been replaced in 2009/10 by some rates of access by PCT and by ethnic group, standardised by age and gender.
