Information for performance and the National Indicator Set

To help with communications and maintain a national picture of the work going on through local partners and regional networks, Simon Medcalf has set up an online NIS development forum, via the GovXchange website

The purpose of the forum:

• To update on progress (through posts and newsletters) and share the latest versions of all project documents - such as the slide packs Ihave been showing around the country;
• To report what is happening in individual pilot projects, to share progress, ask questions and give an opportunity for discussion and challenge;
• Over time, to post templates containing information about new PIs (data, definitions etc.) to enable partners to test out PIs for themselves, and to come to a common position on the pros and cons of each PI, against standard criteria;
• Through the discussion threads, to allow members to share perspective or seek peers' comments and;
• To link to other relevant sites to publicise wider work across the agenda.
