(General FAQ) How do I access my organisation's results and analysis?

You can access your organisation's results using the NDA online toolkit. This is accessed via the CfH portal using your username and password allocated to you when you registered your organisation.

The audit covers a 15 month data collection period from 1 January to 31 March the following year. The 2010-2011 Audit period is from 1 January 2010- 31st March 2011

The NDA has been granted authority to collect patient identifiable data under Section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act 2001 by the Patient Information Advisory Group (PIAG)

This can be left blank as a specific code will be allocated to you once your organisation has been registered. This code will allow you to recognise your data when uploading and within the analysis.

(Apollo FAQ) When will the report run?
The report is scheduled to run during the night, by default reports run between 2am and 7am. There is also a window on Sunday between 9am and 5pm.

(Apollo FAQ) Is there any cost to the organisation to run the automated extract?
No, the extract capability is provided free of charge by the NDA

(Apollo FAQ) How long does the report take to run?
This can vary; it all depends on the speed of your system and the amount of data that you have stored in your database

(Apollo FAQ) Will the nightly report run interfere with our backup process?
No, the report will stop working if your backup procedure runs and the software will try again after an hour.

The dataset information that is required for the National Diabetes Audit.

The software is compatible with all GP clinical system suppliers.

Yes. The raw data is in csv format and can be viewed at the practice.

An icon should be visible on the desktop.

Once data has been extracted from the clinical system using the Apollo Automated Data Extract tool a copy of the data will be stored on the local clinical system.

This is your GPs National code which is a 6 digit code supplied by the National Administrative Codes Service (NACS)

The data is collected in a number of ways depending on the IT systems available within each organisation. Data can either be extracted from clinical systems or collected manually and converted into the correct format for uploading to the NDA
