This national audit is now managed by NICOR (the National Institute for Cardiovascular Outcomes Research) which was established by Sir Bruce Keogh, and is currently led by Professor Sir Roger Boyle and Professor John Deanfield, in association with the specialist clinical societies responsible for each of the national audits. NICOR sits within CPOC (the Cardiovascular Prevention and Outcomes Centre), which is part of the Institute of Cardiovascular Science at University College London.
