NHS iView Head and Neck Cancer Audit shows, for each quarter, selected anonymised and aggregated data at trust and cancer network level, for a number of analyses published in the annual National Head and Neck Cancer Audit report. DAHNO is the system that holds data for the care and management of head and neck cancer patients.

NHS iView currently contains the following data:

• Number of registrations
• Number T&N recorded
• Discussed/Not discussed at MDT
• Chest imaging (CXR/CT) prior to cancer care plan
• Reported chest imaging (CXR/CT) prior to MDT
• Pre-treatment speech & swallowing assessment
• Pre-treatment dietetic contact
• Pre-treatment clinical nurse specialist contact

What information is available?

Data is available from the 5th and 6th annual report, and the 7th annual report up to July 2011

How often is the information updated?

The data will be updated when quarterly data is available starting in August 2010, with data relating to the 6th Annual Report for the National Head and Neck Cancer Audit.

Who can access it?

Head and Neck Cancer Audit data in NHS iView is currently only available to employees from the NHS or Department of Health. Users must provide a valid NHS or Department of Health email address when registering in order to gain access to the data
