How to register

New web-DAHNO

The new web-DAHNO (DAta for Head and Neck Oncology) clinical audit system will be in use for the data collection period from mid-January 2008.

To register for the new web-DAHNO all users (existing DAHNO users and new users) must complete a data user certificate. Details of how to fill out the form and where to send completed forms are on the first page of the document.


Access levels

Editor access allows the user to:

  • create new patient demographics records
  • edit existing patient demographics for their own organisation code
  • create new patient sub-records and edit any existing patient sub-records, linked with patient demographic records created by their own organisation code
  • create new patient sub-records and edit existing patient sub-records for patient demographics created by another organisation code(s)
  • export data to a csv file and upload data from a csv file.

Author access allows the user to:

  • create new patient demographics records
  • edit existing patient demographics for their own organisation code
  • create new patient sub-records and edit any existing patient sub-records, linked with patient demographic records created by their own organisation code
  • create new patient sub-records linked with patient demographic records created by another organisation code (but not edit existing patient sub-records, nor edit the patient demographics themselves)
  • export data to a csv file and upload data from a csv file.

Reader access allows the user to:

  • have read-only access to patient demographics and patient sub-records for all organisation code(s) (but it does not allow them the ability to create new patient demographics and patient sub-records, or edit existing patient demographics and sub-records).
