Data collection

Monitoring the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS)

The responsibility for monitoring the operation of the MCA DOLS has been conferred on the Care Quality Commission (CQC). They are obliged by statute to monitor and report on the operation of the safeguards.
