Producing reports and publications. As well as managing data collections, databases and datasets.
Why are working in the area of mental health?
Working with stakeholders to ensure that relevant, centrally collected and collated information about mental health services is available to meet the needs of those monitoring and commissioning mental health services, as well as clinicians and the public.
What are the benefits of our mental health work?
In 2009/10 over a million adults accessed services provided by the NHS for severe or enduring mental health problems. Our information enables the NHS to:
- monitor and plan mental health services effectively
- investigate the impact and coverage of mental health services at a local level.
