Commissioning Data Packs
Effective commissioning of services is vital to the effective delivery of NHS care
Background
Information is the key to decision making at all points of the commissioning cycle, when planning, procuring, monitoring and evaluating services, and the Data Packs have a vital role to play in supporting this.
Why do we have the commissioning data packs?
As part of our ongoing commissioning programme, we are providing the Data Packs on behalf of the Department of Health to support PCTs during the assurance process for clinical commissioning groups in their commissioning activities.
Key features
- Free online resource
- Benchmarking against national, regional and comparable PCT activity
- Manipulate data for local requirements
- Around 250 key indicators as requested by PCTs
- Regularly refreshed data
- Customised organisational dashboard
The data is regularly refreshed therefore providing an essential resource for commissioners throughout the entire commissioning cycle.
