Secure area

Our most important asset is our staff. We want to ensure that in the event of a disaster or emergency, all staff are protected and supported, and our organisation is up and running again as soon as possible. This web page will communicate important information that will enable us to do that.

Current status

This tells you whether there is an incident or emergency at the moment.

There is currently an incident affecting our Trevelyan Square offices.

Immediate actions

We are having problems with leaks from the toilets on the third floor at Trevelyan Square. To safeguard staff we are taking a number of actions. We are asking staff on the 1st and 2nd floor to collect their laptops (if issued) and personal belongings, to enable you to work from home. Staff on these floors should leave the building as soon as possible. If staff on 1st and 2nd floors have to carry out urgent work that cannot be done from home then they should enquire on the Ground, 4th, 5th & 6th floors to see if any desk space is available.

The toilets on floors 1 through 5 are presently closed. To reduce the burden on the ground floor toilets, the Marriott hotel have agreed that we can use their facilities. Anyone unable or unwilling to do this should work from home if possible.

All staff should check the emergency information line 0844 445 7573 for updates and after 5pm on Sunday 22nd November to find out what will happen on Monday morning. You can also check this incident information page. The Contact Centre is running on a very reduced capacity and may close this afternoon (20th November). Meetings with external visitors should either be moved to another building or postponed.
