From Thursday 27th January 2011, iView ChiMat will no longer be available through NHS iView. The data which are currently provided in this tool are now available through other ChiMat and NHS Information Centre (NHS IC) services.

See below for details of how to access the two datasets which were previously provided through iView ChiMat.

ChiMat Workforce data for NHS staff

Data at strategic health authority (SHA), primary care trust (PCT) and trust level are available from NHS iView but currently only available to employees from the NHS or Department of Health. Users must provide a valid NHS or Department of Health email address when registering in order to gain access to the data.

To apply for access:

1. Go to: https://iview.ic.nhs.uk
2. Login and then go to the Data Areas page
3. Go to Workforce Annual Census Data

NB: The Workforce Annual Census Data include all NHS staff and not just those working in child and maternal health. Information on staff working in child and maternal health can, however, be extracted using the following fields:

• Specialty in the medical and dental dataset
• Occupation in the non-medical dataset

National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP)

Data offering child obesity indicators at both primary care trust and local authority level are available on:
